About Me
Meet Paula Whidden! A trauma-informed Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor with training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Gottman Marriage Therapy, Prepare/Enrich, and anxiety management and treatment. Paula gained a wealth of life experiences before becoming a counselor. She earned a Master of Divinity at Fuller Seminary, became a youth and children’s pastor, raised her kids, and transitioned into counseling. She earned a Master of Science in Counseling degree from Hope International University. Paula works with teenagers, adult individuals, couples, and senior citizens from all backgrounds.
If you have felt stuck and want to discover new ways to process old feelings, you do not have to remain where you are. Paula helps clients to know the hope they can have and provides them with tools and skills to handle life’s difficulties.
